The Dirt Concern, along with the volunteers they organize, have done incredible things in Bozeman - from creating community to increasing inclusivity to building Gnomadic, the best new flow/jump trail of 2025 as voted by Singletracks. And - can confirm - that trail is unbelievable (and Bob's Bridge is RAD).
The Dirt Concern’s mascot is a concerned trail gnome. When I think of gnomes, I think David the Gnome, the 80s cartoon classic, which was heavily influenced by the seminal scientific gnome tome ‘Gnomes’ by Wil Huygen. It seems the gnome patriarchy has a real lock on the pop culture consciousness - the classic gnome is almost always a dude in a blue shirt and a red hat. So to set the balance a little straighter, this trail gnome is brought to you by a strict diet of Riot Grrrl punk music - and she RIPS. Look at that unturndown! I recommend pairing this print with Bikini Kill’s Rebel Girl - cranked up to 11.
